Ms. Carissa

Swim Instructor

Ms.Carissa has been teaching for 6 years. She began swimming competitively and playing water polo by age 11. Her teaching style is based on creating an environment in which children and adults can learn. She LOVES teaching others how to swim because it’s a skill that they will carry with them their whole life! Ms. Carissa is also our teacher trainer for any new instructors, she teaches them the curriculum and ensures they fully understand it before they are on their own. All instructors go to her when they have any questions and for guidance. Ms. Carissa also assists with our swim team when needed.
