Adaptive Swim Program

What We Offer:

At Lucky Duck Swim School, our Adaptive Swim Program is designed with sensitivity, flexibility, and respect. These private lessons are tailored specifically for swimmers on the autism spectrum, allowing our instructors to move at your child’s pace, adapt to their individual needs, and build confidence and skill in a nurturing environment.

Each lesson is structured to offer:

• Individualized attention – The instructor’s focus is entirely on the swimmer, enabling adjustments in pacing, communication style, and sensory accommodations as needed.
• Consistency & routine – Lessons follow clear, predictable structures to support comfort and reduce anxiety.
• Sensory awareness – Our instructors are trained to recognize sensory sensitivities (e.g., to sound, touch, water temperature) and adjust the environment or approach accordingly.
• Building confidence & safety – Beyond technique, our lessons emphasize comfort and familiarity in the water, teaching skills that promote both enjoyment and safety.
