Job Description:
We are looking for swim instructors who are eager to dive into the business of aquatic education. We are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and dedicated individuals with good communication skills and a genuine love of children. Great opportunity to work with children and adults! Swim instructors spend their time directly working with infants, toddlers, youth and adults to teach them swim skills.
- Must have at least one year experience teaching swimming lessons.
- Enthusiasm for working with infants, children and adults and making a difference!
- Strong skills in Customer Service.
- Lifeguard and CPR certification are required.
- WSI certification (preferable).
- Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.

Office Assistant – Temporary Summer Position
Lucky Duck Swim School is an outdoor heated pool in the city of Gardena. Currently, we are seeking a highly motivated Office Assistant to start in June. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring successful daily operations for Lucky Duck Swim School and, in the absence of the Office Manager, will make basic operational decisions. The office tasks include the following:
- Communication with clients/customers while providing superior customer service.
- Assisting in custodial cleaning of the entire pool facility
- Scheduling Appointments
- Administering first aid
- Data entry
- Ensuring all documentation has been processed and entered in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Answer phone calls and emails
- Sales
- And any other tasks assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be kind, energetic, and easy going.
- Strong skills in Customer Service
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with clients on a professional level.
- Must have at least a year of customer service related work experience.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks required.
- Must be self-motivated and able to start and complete projects with little direction.
- Must be proficient with MS Office.
- Must have CPR/First Aid certification.
- Must have knowledge of swimming techniques
- Must be able to work weekends and flexible hours.
